Media Release: 2026 Municipal Election—Meet Lincoln’s Certified Candidates

Lincoln, ON — September 3, 2026 — With the 2026 Municipal Election approaching, the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce is sharing the information for the candidates running for municipal office in the Town of Lincoln.

The nomination period closed on August 21, and the Town of Lincoln has published the list of certified candidates for Mayor, Councillor and School Board Trustee positions.

Municipal government plays an important role in shaping Lincoln’s business environment, with decisions affecting areas such as economic development, planning and development, infrastructure, transportation, taxes, community services and more.

The Lincoln Chamber encourages members of the business community to take the opportunity to learn more about the candidates, their priorities and their perspectives.

The Town of Lincoln’s election information page includes the full list of certified candidates, along with the email addresses they have provided for public contact.

We encourage members to use this information as a starting point to connect directly with candidates and ask questions about their priorities for Lincoln and its business community.

The Chamber will also be hosting two opportunities to hear directly from the candidates: Mayoral Candidates Night on October 13 and All Candidates Night on October 15. Both Candidate Nights are free and open to everyone, with registration required to plan appropriately for capacity and refreshments.

The 2026 Municipal Election will take place on October 26, 2026, with online voting available during the advance voting period.
