The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce has appointed Emilia Amaro as their new Executive Director, effective January 2024. Emilia joins the organization with over 17 years of entrepreneurial experience within the website design and marketing industries as well as partnerships with various organizations and non-profits such as PEGO (Professional Engineers of the Government Ontario), Scribble Me Silly – Art for Kids, and the Rising Tide Society.
“This breadth of experience gives me a unique perspective on sustainable business practices, creating meaningful relationships and a strong, connected community,” said Emilia. “I am so eager to dive in – I’d love to get to know you, your business, challenges, and successes so we at the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce can continue to support you and uplift your business within the community.”
Emilia, along with the support of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and staff, will be responsible for leading the organization and building on its continued success in membership growth, business advocacy and community outreach. “The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of excellence and value for our members,” said Katy Letourneau, Board President of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. “As a board, we are thrilled to welcome Emilia on board and look forward to her leadership in growing our Chamber.”
