We’re proud to highlight Nour Hage, President & CEO of Civiconnect, as the Young Professional of the Year award winner at the 2025 Outstanding Business Achievement Awards. This award recognizes a local professional under the age of 40, who consistently demonstrates excellence in their occupation and/or has tackled the ever increasing challenges of entrepreneurship.

About Nour & Civiconnect

Nour Hage is the President & CEO of Civiconnect. Since 2021, he has been instrumental in launching their Youth Skills Studio, delivering targeted training programs that prepare young people for competitive industries. Nour has led Civiconnect to sustainable growth, securing funding and building strategic alliances that have enabled the training and employment of over 1000 participants and completion of more than 400 small business projects.

In addition to his role at Civiconnect, Nour actively contributes to the community through his involvement with several boards and organizations. He is the Chair of Leadership Niagara, the Past President of the Ad & Sales Group, Secretary at the Alzheimer Society Niagara Foundation and serves on the board of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.

Civiconnect is a skills and workforce development organization that equips young people with the technical and soft skills needed to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving labour market. They focus on building practical experience through innovative work-integrated learning training models that connect youth directly with real employers. Their mission is to expand access to meaningful skill-building opportunities and strengthen local talent pipelines.

Highlights & Achievements

A few highlights of Civiconnect’s work include:

  • Leading the Youth Skills Studio, a model that has supported more than 1,150 youth over the past four years and helped them gain hands-on experience in high-demand sectors across Ontario.
  • Growing into a recognized leader in the workforce development space and building partnerships with municipalities, employers, and community organizations across the province.
