As recovery efforts continue, the Town has made several resources available to help residents and business owners report damage, access support programs, and provide information that will assist with ongoing response and future planning. Town of Lincoln's Disaster Recovery Reporting Form

The Town is advocating with the Province of Ontario to begin the process of activating the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) program.

If you live in Lincoln and experienced damage to your property due to the July 21 flooding, please fill out our brief form by August 17. This information will be provided to the Province of Ontario to determine whether this program will be activated.

Business Flooding Impact Survey

The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce is gathering information about the impacts of the recent flooding and state of emergency on local businesses. Responses will help advocate for assistance and recovery resources. Individual responses will remain confidential unless permission is granted.

Public Service Announcement: Flood Recovery Waste Collection Services Extended

Enhanced curbside waste collection services have been extended through Friday, August 21, 2026. Residents may continue to place flood-related waste at the curb for collection, including garbage, bulky items and construction and demolition (C&D) materials, in accordance with the applicable collection requirements.

The Town of Lincoln is working with partner agencies, including Team Rubicon, deployed by Ontario Corps, and Samaritan’s Purse and Mennonite Disaster Service, to connect residents with flood cleanup and recovery assistance.

Enhanced flood recovery waste collection begins Wednesday, August 5 and will continue through Friday, August 14, 2026, on residents’ regularly scheduled collection days. Please note: This includes garbage collection on August 5, 6 and 7 as well as the week of August 10.
