Spring has sprung (according to Wiarton Willie!) 🌷
And if he’s right, warmer days are just around the corner—perfectly timed for our next Business After Five on March 5th.
We’re officially open for registration, but we are still looking for a host location.
Would you like to showcase your business and welcome fellow Chamber members into your space?
If March isn’t your month, no worries — we have multiple BA5 hosting opportunities open throughout the year.
Hosting a BA5 is a genuinely free marketing opportunity for your business:
- Meet local business owners and professionals
- Share what you do and what makes your business unique
- Highlight your space, services, or a special feature
- Gain visibility through Chamber promotion
Business After Five continues to be one of our top-attended events, and every host brings their own spin on the evening.
If you have a fun networking game or activity in mind, let us know. If you’d rather keep things simple and just mingle, that works too.
Last call for Politicians’ Breakfast tickets!
Today is the final day to grab your ticket for Friday’s Politicians’ Breakfast, and we’re already nearing 120 attendees. We’d love to see you there.
This event is one of the most effective ways to:
- Put your face and business in front of decision-makers
- Build real relationships in your community
- Stay informed about what’s happening locally
- Move your business forward faster
If you’ve ever thought, “That event isn’t for me,” you’re not alone. Many business owners assume it’s highly political or formal — but the reality is much more practical and approachable.
What I’ve learned over time is that these breakfasts are really about conversation and connection. Our elected officials are people doing a public-service job, and this is one of the few settings where you can speak with them directly, as business owners and neighbours.
Please don’t skip this event because of assumptions. It’s:
- A: great breakfast from our friends at The Shore
- B: a room full of your community
- C: one of the only times all levels of government are together, moderated by Sam Miele
That combination is powerful — and rare.
I invite you to grab a ticket, show up, connect with one another, and listen in.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
Emilia Amaro
