Did you know that historically, January is supposed to be a time of hibernation, reflection and preparation for Spring? I don’t know about you—but we’re heavy in activation mode already, or at least it feels like that.
We’ve got a full bustling year of events ready for registering and a reminder that these events are a place to meet and build on those relationships with people as you continue to network and feel camaraderie with your fellow Lincoln residents and business owners. Check out the event calendar here.
Tomorrow, we’re congregating at Campden General Store, jointly hosted with Brand You, Promotional Products, for our first Business After 5 of the year. Spots are limited and registration closes today. Sign Up Now.
Next week, we’re at it with our first Breakfast Before 9 (sponsored by Meridian Credit Union) at Penny’s Kitchen in Vineland. And midway through the following week, join us and Krista Burch, Tax Principal from Bateman MacKay LLP, on a free-by-donation (to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara) webinar on accounting practices to live by for 2026 and beyond. Come with questions (better yet, ask them before).
Also on Wednesday, January 21—the Chamber will be presenting to our Town Council on an annual review and reflections—we’d love to see you there in Council Chambers to support. No RSVP required, and here’s the calendar for Council minutes/agendas for this one and all other council meetings.
Kicking things right along to February—our much anticipated Politician’s Breakfast returns to The Shore on February 6th—registration now open here.
Despite hitting the ground running, I want to encourage you to take this time to reflect on your upcoming year in your business, and what you would like to see as the months progress because all of a sudden, it will be the holidays again. You know it’ll happen—things will fly by because of the day-to-day occurrences, fires we need to put out, successes we need to celebrate (and we need to celebrate those) and the moments in between.
As always, we’re here, championing, cheering and connecting with you.
Happy 2026,
Emilia Amaro
Executive Director, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce
