The Outstanding Business Achievement Awards has been recognizing business excellence in the category of Business of the Year (Small, Medium and Large Organization) since 2002. Nominate a deserving business and help us celebrate the accomplishments and resilience of our Lincoln business community.
This award recognizes business leadership as demonstrated through innovation, ongoing customer satisfaction and business success, staff development and training, community involvement and a propensity for marketing initiatives geared toward attracting visitors to Lincoln and the Niagara Region.
This award recognizes a local professional under the age of 40, who consistently demonstrates excellence in their occupation and/or has tackled the ever increasing challenges of entrepreneurship.
This award recognizes and celebrates a local business or not-for-profit that demonstrates outstanding support for the West Niagara Secondary School (WNSS) Co-operative Education Program.
This award recognizes an individual who successfully operated their own business independently in 2024, without any permanent employees. Demonstrating full control over the direction and decisions of their enterprise, they relied solely on their own skills, expertise, and resources to thrive. This entrepreneur exemplified vision, innovation, resilience, and leadership, achieving measurable business success while practicing good corporate citizenship and contributing meaningfully to their community.
The Business Woman of the Year Award is meant to recognize and award the determination and success of a woman entrepreneur who made it in the stringent business world. Judges are looking for a female entrepreneur who has demonstrated how she has successfully overcome challenges to build a robust and thriving company.
This award recognizes excellence in the Agriculture and Agri-business sector.
The recipient is an Agriculture or Agri-business focused business that consistently demonstrates achievement in the area of their business focus
The Non-Profit of the Year Award acknowledges and celebrates Non-Profit entities that have displayed outstanding best practices, along with a significant positive impact on our community. The winner of the Non-Profit of the Year award will become the annual non-profit recipient of all Chamber fundraising events of the year.

All profit-centered business organizations, operating in the Town of Lincoln, are eligible for nomination. All nominees must have been in business for a minimum of three years. OBAA recipients from the last two years do not qualify unless they are eligible under a different category. It is not required that a nominee be a member of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. You can nominate your own business.
There are THREE “Business of the Year Award” CATEGORIES:
*FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) refers to the number of paid staff, whether full-time, part-time, fixed-term contract, salaried or hourly, working between 35 and 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
This award recognizes and celebrates the achievements of an individual under the age of 40 (at the time of nomination) who has tackled the challenges of entrepreneurship and/or has demonstrated leadership or professional growth in their field of work. This individual:
This award recognizes excellence in the Agriculture and Agri-business sector. The recipient is an Agriculture or Agribusiness focused organization that consistently demonstrates achievement in the area of their business focus. The recipient can range from a farming enterprise through to a beverage and food producer and can include support organizations such as warehouses, wholesalers, processors and retailers. This award recognizes one local business that has demonstrated considerable achievement in the Agri-business sector across a number of areas of concentration:
